I was introduced to the Acai bowl at this little spot in Miami Beach called "Apple A Day". The first day I tried it I was OBSESSED. But then I thought because it was good there that it would be good every where else. WRONG (In my best Donald Trump voice). I needed to learn how they made this yummy bowl of amazing unicorn blood. At least this is what id imagine it to be like, anyways. I never learned but I guessed! And dammit I was close and this shit tastes so freakin good. Recipe to feed 3-4 people is below! Because Acai should be a shared magic <3
- Frozen Acai berry packets
- Almond Milk
- 3 Bananas
- Sweetened Coconut Shreds
- Throw Acai packets in a blender along with about 3 cups of almond milk, 2 bananas, a handful of blueberries, a 1/4 cup of agave nectar, ice, and BLEND THAT SHIT SON.
- Cut bananas & strawberries in thin slices, set aside.
- Once acai blend is finished in the blender, pour into bowls and place granola & shredded coconut in the middle of the bowl. Then place bananas, strawberries, a couple blueberries, a blackberry as garnish on top and drizzle agave on top!
