As someone who has been doing makeup for years, I have come across a few tips and loop holes to help with those not-so-simple makeup products that advertise otherwise. Not everyone is as coordinated as a makeup artist or someone with good writing. Sometimes, people are just not good with makeup at ALL. So these little tips should help you with your makeup in some sort of way to make your life a little easier! Here we go.
Take an eyelash curler and an eyeliner pencil. Draw a line on the top, inner section of the eyelash curler to make a stencil for your eyeliner and curl your eyelashes pushing against your eye slightly. This will imprint a black stencil for you to follow with a liquid or gel/creme eyeliner so you're not free handing it! AMAZBALLZ.
2. The Perfect Manicure
Do you ever go outside the lines of your nails when your painting them? Not everyone is ambidextrous, or can afford to get a $20 manicure every week so a good way to get a somewhat cleaner look to your manicure is to purchase a small, flat edge brush and PURE acetone. Once your done with painting your nails, dip the brush in the acetone and clean up the edges and around the cuticle to erase any mess you made.
3. Baby Lips
No one likes chapped, flakey and rough lips OR gross lipstick scales. So at the VERy end of your hot and steamy shower, take an exfoliating glove, toothbrush or even more minimal, your finger and scrub off with medium pressure all the dead skin until baby smooth! Do this every time you take a shower for flawless results, all the time.
4. Eyebrow Fuzz!
If you're starting to experiment with taking up close and personal photos of yourself or trying to perfect your makeup so it looks amazing in flash iphone photography for Instagram, or simply just want to clean up your brow biz, eyebrow fuzz is NOT your friend. So a good, quick and absolutely painless way to get rid of the fuzziness is to purchase at your local drug store eyebrow razors! They are disposable, cheap, and make cleaning up your brows super easy. Be careful though! Do NOT over shave, or press too hard. It is an actual razor and it will cut you, especially in such a sensitive area as the eyes. Experiment, and be gentle :)
5. Dark Circles
Last but not least, how to conceal under eye bags with ease.
- Use a darker concealer to color correct
- Use your correctly matched concealer to counteract the darkness
- Press powder with a powder puff under the eyes and buff with brush
I will be doing a more in depth tutorial about this if you don't understand it completely. So make sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel or Mina Mail for updates!
